Practical Sciences
Practical sciences, according to Aristotle, are sciences that guide behavior, probably best described as "social sciences" today. The two most notable practical sciences Aristotle writes about are politics and ethics. His moral philosophy discusses things such as virtue, happiness, wisdom, and understanding. His works on political theory go into such matters as the different types of rulers, governments, and ruling relationships, wealth, economy, and slavery.
